This is a small general practice, offering a high-quality and personal service. Here you will find a good grounding and competence in traditional building design, and the skilful use and understanding of traditional materials and details, as well as the employment of the best of modern design, both visually and technologically, where this may be appropriate. We aim to provide considered, responsive design solutions, in both rural and urban contexts, with a literate articulation of architecture in the execution of design proposals. We have a genuine interest in the pursuit of beauty and the poetic in buildings and space.

 

Based in Dumfries, in the south of Scotland, this practice will consider clients and commissions worldwide.
